This module includes a brief review of electrocardiograms, treadmill stress testing, and echocardiograms. CPK and troponin are compared with a description of how elevated cardiac enzyme measurements indicate heart damage. The use of CT scans, MRIs, and stress myoviews in diagnosing the extent of cardiac damage are also reviewed. Finally, this module covers an explanation of cardiac catheterization and CABG. The purpose of this module is to facilitate knowledge and confidence in the care of the cardiac patient.
