Course
Description: Patient care may be our first priority, but no business equates to no care. That’s why this course is so important to health care professionals. Simply put, the purpose of risk management is to avoid or reduce losses of resources and minimize the effects of losses through planning, organization and administration. Such losses typically result from natural disasters, lawsuits, personnel turnover, business interruption and changes in governmental policy. Among the issues this course discusses are the importance of risk management in health care, loss exposures and the risk management process, and applying the principles of risk management to your practice.
